October 20th-22nd 2016
Every EPIC is special and unique, but underlying each event are some common themes. We take this opportunity every year to explore the medium and the business of concrete beyond the basics. People gather from around the world to share their experience with each other, and from this exchange comes real and substantial growth from the participants in the event. We are aiming to take what we have learned from previous years, and push the envelope even further this year.
There has been a wide range of experience levels of those who have attended EPIC in past years. This is not a concrete countertop training in the traditional sense. It is not the place to go to learn a specific technique. It is not really a training. That said, you will learn a lot about concrete, you will get to explore and learn the basics of a number of techniques, and you will get a chance to learn the business from some of the best. Regardless of your experience level, there is value to be had for all of those interested in artisan concrete. Feel free to reach out to Jeremy to discuss the event further to determine if it is right for you or not. firstname.lastname@example.org

We will be providing a shuttle service to and from the airport throughout the day Wednesday and Sunday (leaving every few hours). What To Bring?
This is hands on in the truest sense. Boots, aprons, respirators, safety glasses, elbow and knee pads, and whatever else makes you feel 'good' in a 'workshop', bring it all. Even those who take a more 'executive stance' on the proceedings are likely to still get a little dirty. We will be providing lunches, a pig roast on Saturday night, lettuce for vegans, lettuce and honey for vegetarians, and ample amounts of snacks and alcohol. There are likely to be a few 'craft' brews and hard liquors around, but if you have special requirements, you may need to take such matter into your own hands. Michael Karmody has a special man relationship when it comes to beers, so if you give him a wink and a pinch, he may just pack you a wretched bitter beer in his carry on for your contemplative pleasures. Extra t-shirts to barter and trade with fellow artisans.
For more details, contact email@example.com. She can help you with any other general questions or questions with regards to lodging and the airport shuttle, and she is just generally pleasant to converse with.
