Pierre became a craftsman by chance after restoring an 18th Century stone barn that he and his wife bought in a medieval village in Southern France in 2003. His passionate response to the barn project revealed his talent as a craftsman and led him to creating Stoneman Concrete.

After returning to San Francisco, he continued his emersion in concrete design with Buddy Rhodes. Today, Pierre designs concrete interiors and offers a versatile range of products from kitchen countertops and bathroom sinks to cement floors and interior/exterior furniture. Born and raised in the south of France, Pierre spent several years living and working in Mexico before moving to the United States in 1997. He brings a style to his concrete craftsmanship that is influenced by his international passport.
