I wanted to let those of you who go online know that we’re changing our color formulation starting in June. We’re switching to dry ultra fine pigments in soluble bags. One bag of dry pigment colors two bags Mix. Until now, I always preferred liquid color because it was the best way to get uniform dispersion throughout a project. Traditional dry colors were prone to causing “starbursts”when trowelled, and it was hard to get them to dissolve completely. But technology has improved, and after a lot of testing, I’ve found a system that solves these problems for me. Ultra-Fine Pigments will make your projects easier to mix without waste, easier to measure, and easier to reproduce. The new pigments are also more efficient to ship and to store. These are the reasons I’m making the switch. The price and the colors themselves will be the same as the liquid, and all colors will be shipped upon order directly from our supplier in the middle of the country, in recyclable cardboard cylinders.
