Training for Concrete
|
Buddy's long time foreman and master concrete craftsman Heriberto Esquivel conducts training with Buddy in the San Francisco shop. Every two-day training is comprehensive and informative about each phase of concrete fabrication, with individual attention and opportunity for hands-on learning about concrete countertops and other decorative concrete projects. Students gain knowledge of materials, forming, mixing and placing the concrete mix, finishing techniques, colors, sealing, maintenance and business tips. Training class size is kept small. Trainings are held monthly and often fill up within weeks of the scheduled date. Each training day begins at 8:30 am and closes at approximately 4:30. Continental breakfast is provided each day, with a Friday Japanese lunch next door to Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products and a Saturday walk down the street for burgers outdoors on the Bay. Registration Policy: • Registration must be accompanied by payment • Credit Cards are the only accepted method of payment Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products training classes tend to fill up early, so schedule changes are difficult to accommodate. It is a good idea to keep your space in the training once you have registered. If you cannot attend a scheduled training, we have a cancellation policy with four options: 1. Notify us 7 days or earlier before class and reschedule your concrete products training for a later date at no charge. 2. Notify us 14 days or earlier before a training class and cancel for a $100 processing fee. 3. Notify us within 14 days of class and cancel for a $300 cancellation fee. 4. There are no reimbursements for no-shows or cancellations within seven days of a training. Thank you for your understanding.
Student Comments: "A very informative workshop in a friendly warm environment; it's nice to feel a part of the Buddy Rhodes family. "
"I liked everything about the workshop. You guys are all really comfortable to be around, and everyone was willing to share information. I only took the advanced class and was familiar with a lot - tried other bagged mixes and my own mix and nothing is as good as yours - but I still came away with much more than I went in with. Thank you thank you." "I liked the hands on and the down to earth teaching of the staff. Thank you Buddy and staff; you made a dream come true for a hungry student!"
